A tiny "outtake" of my work today
I shot a kind of lookbook for a fashion design student from Paris. My first commission, yay ^^
Maybe some more will follow, but first I have 40 more shots to edit!

For once, it is the title that intrigue me more than the photo. Since the title makes me see this photo as something of a film adaption to any of Hayao Miyazaki's animations e.g "Nausicaa of the valley of the wind".

But overall, I like how the simplicity of her outfit and hair garments chosen for the theme (as said by title). I like how everything else presented is blurred save for her alone, it make her appear like she is spacing out and all thoughts are carried off to the wind. Why I praise your choice to pick the simplicity of her outfits and hair garments altogether, is because it allow for the ideas behind the title to flow into my head eventually. The simplicity allows me to not be concerned about the humble fashions and thus, freely like the wind, find the ideas you're expressing from another angle, the title for example. After all, you can measure and feel the wind, but you can't see it just with your eyes itself. This is why I remarked my intrigue of how the title reaches me first to the ideas before the photo does. The only way I could see the ideas you're expresing is by relating it to what I experienced is similar to the conceptual ideas I'm getting from the title, even if it's under my perspectives first. For example, let's say I were to imagine this in a movie scene, it would be that figure is all grown up and returning back to this childhood place for sentimental value. Something I do wonder if it is the same feelings I've felt when I spaced out at my local park under a sky shared equally with the blue hue, and the clouds, accompanied by a cool breeze despite the warm sunlight on the green grasses. :)

The title helps to express the ideas behind this photo in my respect. To me, the title imply the magical yet spiritual aspect of the wind has by taking her heart back into to a certain childhood memory spent here- Almost to say the wind is reawakening a memory strongly associated to the place she's spacing out at.

Interesing photo by the way, you took it from a satisfying angle in my opinion. There is definitely going to be a lot of thoughts going on about the ideas in this photo. Although I am no professonal photographer myself despite my opinion Lol.

So! Finally I was able to read you wonderful comment and now can reply to it ^^
Thank you so so much for your kind words, you totally got the idea of the picture and it makes me wonder how you were able to do so! I can't remember that I posted it somewhere, but indeed, she is remembering her childhood and is strolling around in a local beech grove (:
I personally love her expression on this picture (the model was just awesome, she did such a great job!), because it doesn't tell you wether her memories are delightful or maybe a bit sad... To be honest, I don't know it either and this is what I love about portrait photography! You just know your own thoughts, but not what the model was thinking about when you took the picture. So you are able to muse about your pictures yourself.

The title was inspired by a song of monsters and men (your bones), a band I really love listening to. If you take a closer look at their lyrics any my titles, you will recognise a lot of them ^^
I really recommend you to listen to their gorgeous album "My head is an anmimal" and let them lull you into wonderful dreams.

Again, thank you for your long and beautiful comment, I really appreciate it and apologise for the late reply
